Kaufman Dolowich Receives Mansfield Certification from Diversity Lab

Woodbury, N.Y. (October 10, 2023) – Kaufman Dolowich is pleased to announce the law firm has achieved 2022-2023 Mansfield Certification, marking the fifth consecutive year it has qualified for this distinction. Kaufman Dolowich is one of more than 240 firms to attain this most recent certification and is participating in next year’s 2023-2024 certification process, as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

To achieve 2022-2023 Mansfield Certification, a firm must have considered at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers such as women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities when considering candidates for leadership roles and for promotion to equity partnership, among a host of other activities that focus on the path to leadership.

Kaufman Dolowich has seen consistent progress towards its DE&I goals since we started following the Mansfield guidelines, and is pleased to report: 

• Diverse attorneys are approaching 50% firmwide
• Diverse Associates/Of Counsel currently comprise almost 60% of the attorney pool
• Diverse attorneys included in client pitches exceeds 50%
• Diverse C-Suite level positions are at 50%
• Diverse non-attorney team members are at 86%
