Law.com, “How I Made Office Managing Partner,” spotlights Dove A.E. Burns, Esq., 1-16-2026

Kaufman Dolowich’s Dove A.E. Burns, Regional Managing Partner, California Offices & Managing Partner, New Haven Office, was featured in Law.com’s “How I Made Office Managing Partner” spotlight. Ms. Burns joined Kaufman Dolowich in February 2025 as the firm’s New Haven Office Managing Partner and was named California Regional Managing Partner this past November 2025.

In the Q & A article, Ms. Burns talks about her career journey and factors that have contributed to her success over the years, noting, “I would describe my career trajectory as an intentional pursuit rather than something that unfolded on its own. In law, success rarely happens by chance; it requires deliberate effort, strategic decisions, and a commitment to continual growth.” She also shared some insight on her goals in the new role, adding, “in my new role as regional managing partner of the California offices, I am focused on our strategic growth in California. We are taking a regional approach to the state as a whole, that will allow us to maximize synergies and take advantage of areas of specialty while maximizing our data and knowledge of the plaintiffs’ bar and particular plaintiffs’ firms.”
