Kaufman Dolowich Partner Christopher Arcitio Installed as President of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York, 6-12-2026
NEW YORK (June 12, 2026) – Kaufman Dolowich, a leading national law firm, today announced that Partner Christopher Arcitio has been installed as President of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALA New York) for the 2026-2027 term. Arcitio, who has been a member of the organization since 2023, recently served as FALA New York President-Elect from 2025-2026, and Treasurer from 2024-2025.
As President, Arcitio will serve as the chief executive officer of the Association and lead the organization’s strategic planning and initiatives for the coming year. His responsibilities will include executing the Association’s programs and resolutions, overseeing organizational strategy and agenda-setting, and spearheading fundraising and sponsorship efforts that support FALA New York’s mission and members.
“My vision is to empower our members to further advance their professional and personal development as members of the legal profession. Among his priorities as President, Arcitio plans to develop a leadership and mentoring pipeline within the organization and strength FALA New York’s relationships with the broader legal and Filipino American communities.
Those efforts build on the relationships Arcitio has already cultivated through his involvement with FALA New York. Over the years, his participation in the organization has enabled him to develop a broad network of professional relationships throughout the legal community, including connections that have ultimately become valued colleagues at Kaufman Dolowich.
Looking ahead, “My goal is to deepen the Association’s ties with organizations such as the National Filipino American Lawyers Association, National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Filipino American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Consulate General of the Philippines,” Arcitio said. “I also look forward to supporting foreign-trained attorneys from the Philippines who seek to practice law in the United States. ”
At Kaufman Dolowich, Arcitio’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability, and insurance coverage and litigation. He handles general liability matters including motor vehicle defense on behalf of insurance carriers and has experience in large vehicle accidents and related claims involving bodily injury and property damage. He also has experience in complex civil litigation lawsuits involving premises liability, catastrophic accidents, transportation, subrogation, elevator malfunctions, and New York Labor Law. He has litigated professional liability matters on behalf of physicians, nurses and hospitals.
