This year’s Influencers in Law were recognized not only for their professional achievements, but also for their dedication to mentorship, community engagement, innovation, and advocacy within the region’s legal and civic landscape.

A nationally respected litigator and trusted advisor, Mr. Kaufman concentrates his practice in labor and employment law, class actions, risk management and commercial litigation.

In addition to his leadership at the firm, Mr. Kaufman is a founding member of the Professional Liability Attorney Network (PLAN) and serves on the board of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He is a graduate of the prestigious nine-year Harvard Business School YPO Executive Education Program, where he deepened sharpened his expertise in business leadership.

Mr. Kaufman earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University and his B.A. from Lehigh University. A committed civic leader, he serves as a trustee of the Children’s Medical Fund of New York and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for multiple consecutive years.
