Kaufman Dolowich Appoints Tad A. Devlin as Managing Partner of Northern California San Francisco and Oakland Offices

Firm promotes Kartikey A. Pradhan and Marcus M. Dong to Partners

SAN FRANCISCO (July 17, 2023) – Kaufman Dolowich, a leading national law firm, today announced the appointment of Tad A. Devlin to the position of Managing Partner of the firm’s Northern California offices in San Francisco and Oakland. Devlin has been with the firm for more than a decade and is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years of experience.

The Northern California offices have 19 lawyers practicing in a wide range of areas, including insurance coverage, insurance defense, bad faith litigation, complex commercial litigation including representing companies in RICO litigation, employment insurance and professional liability. Additionally, the firm handles commercial property matters, including HOA disputes.

The firm recently elevated two of its San Francisco attorneys, Kartikey A. Pradhan and Marcus M. Dong, to Partners. Pradhan is a labor and employment attorney who advises employers on commercial, business, personal injury and insurance litigation, ERISA, class actions and other employment matters. Dong advises clients in employment practices liability defense litigation, wage and hour litigation, professional liability defense, and general liability defense.

He also defends and advises clients in fiduciary liability, and ERISA matters. He has been an integral member of several practice groups including employment law, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation and professional liability, as well as Co-Chair of the Cannabis Practice.

Devlin is active in the community and has served on the board of the San Francisco Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) committee for more than five years.  The Committee’s goal is to educate members of the community on their legal rights and provide them access to affordable, competent legal representation.
