Alexandria Hobson-Choi Joins Kaufman Dolowich’s Los Angeles Office; Expands Labor & Employment and Consumer Financial Services Teams, 5-13-2025

Posted May 13, 2025

Los Angeles (May 13, 2025) – Kaufman Dolowich, a leading national law firm, today announced Alexandria Hobson-Choi has joined its Los Angeles office as a litigation partner, bringing more than a decade of experience in employment law and consumer financial services litigation.

Hobson-Choi comes to Kaufman Dolowich from Litchfield Cavo LLP, following Partner Mark Worthge, who also recently joined the firm. She represents employers and institutions in a range of disputes, including general labor violations, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) disputes, discrimination and harassment claims, hostile work environment allegations, and unfair business practices. In her financial services work, Hobson represents several banks and credit unions in class actions, general liability, and personal injury matters, as well as providing employment counsel.

Hobson-Choi said her decision to join the firm was driven by its trajectory and culture.

“I am excited to join Kaufman Dolowich because its strong national growth reflects the way I want to grow my own practice, with a forward-thinking mindset,” said Hobson-Choi. “I appreciate the firm’s collaborative, team-based culture and its emphasis on balance and long-term career development. Additionally, I have great respect for my longtime colleague Mark Worthge, and his enthusiasm for the move also confirmed to me that I’d be in the right place.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Alexandria to the team,” said Dove Burns, managing partner of the firm’s Connecticut office who joined the firm earlier this year, bringing with her three attorneys to strengthen the L&E group. “Alexandria is a smart, driven attorney whose work ethic and litigation skill will serve our clients well. As we continue to build a national, collaborative practice, talent like Alexandria’s is exactly what we’re looking for.” Burns currently splits her time between the firm’s Connecticut and California offices, and plans to relocate full-time to Los Angeles in 2026, reflecting Kaufman Dolowich’s continued investment in the West Coast market.

Hobson-Choi received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, her Master of Public Administration and B.A. in Business Administration and Finance, from California State University, San Bernardino.
