Overview
Attorney Samayia Sneed practices law with an emphasis on labor and employment.
She is engaged in the full range of employment matters, including mediation and investigation, and trial preparation for litigation defense. Ms. Sneed defends against demands, charges, and federal and state lawsuits addressing issues of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. This includes working with and through the Department of Labor (DOL), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
In addition, she supports clients in reviewing workplace policies, employee handbooks, and employment and severance agreements. She provides counsel during workplace challenges, including work-life matters in the business community.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she served as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas for Judge Charles Eskridge and Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt. Additionally, Ms. Sneed was a Torts teaching assistant during school and, prior, worked as a civil court clerk for Travis County Justice of the Peace Court.
