Riaunna Bowie

Overview

Attorney Riaunna Bowie focuses her law practice in employment law. She represents employers and businesses in employment litigation including wage and hour matters. She defends employers facing wage compliance audits by the Department of Labor and the Texas Workforce Commission. Ms. Bowie prepare companies for those audits, and if necessary, represents clients in subsequent litigation. Ms. Bowie handles claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Additionally, she drafts workplace policies, handbooks, and employment agreements.

Prior to originally joining Kaufman Dolowich as an employment law clerk, Ms. Bowie also served as law firm clerk working on whistleblower federal matters, workers compensation, toxic tort and product liability. Additionally, she was a legal intern at Dallas’s 68th Civil District Court, as well as at a law firm, and an industrial engineering company.

During law school, Ms. Bowie was an honors student, served as Vice Magister of Phi Delta Phi, and Staff Editor at the university’s law journal.
