Overview
Nicolette Rae Bencito focuses her practice on employment law and general liability.
She defends employers in claims of alleged discrimination, wrongful discharge, harassment, in wage and hour disputes, and Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) actions. She also provides counsel on employment agreements and personnel matters. In her general liability work, Ms. Bencito defends insurers in various insurance defense matters.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she was an associate with a San Francisco firm working on employment law, civil litigation, and personal injury matters. During law school, Ms. Bencito completed the university’s Certificate Program in Labor and Employment Law, served as a maritime law firm clerk, a student clinician at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court in Oakland and Superior Court in Palo Alto.
