Overview
Nadine Nasnas focuses her practice on data privacy and cybersecurity law and employment law.
She defends clients in class & collective actions, wage & hour claims, and in collective Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. Ms. Nasnas also represents insurance carriers and private clients in data privacy and cybersecurity claims. She provides counsel in compliance matters arising under current and emerging privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).
Prior to her work as an associate and law clerk at Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Nasnas was a data privacy and compliance intern working in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. She also was a law firm clerk, consulting with startups and technology companies about privacy law compliance, and working on commercial contracts, trademarks, and day-to-day operations. Additionally, Ms. Nasnas served as a senior editor at her law school’s journal, was a peer mentor, and an executive intern for former U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris.
