Overview

Associate Kaitlyn Suydam Corbia focuses her practice on general liability defense.

She defends commercial and residential property owners, general contractors, subcontractors, various tradesmen and insurance carrier clients in matters pertaining to premises liability, property damage, and labor law.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she was an associate in NYC handling matters related to premises liability and labor law violations. She also previously worked for the City of New York within the Special State Law Enforcement Defense Unit, defending NYC and its police force in civil actions for false arrest, excessive force, and malicious prosecution.

During law school, she served as the Moot Skills Director for her school’s Trial Advocacy Board, helping students to further develop their advocacy skills. She also participated in numerous inter-school moot court competitions, as both a competitor and student coach.
