Overview
Jon Fortin focuses his practice on general liability defense, commercial litigation, and construction.
Ms. Fortin’s general liability defense and construction law work includes representing construction contractors and property owners in claims that allege violations of labor law, construction defects, as well as premises liability claims arising from alleged hazardous conditions. He works on complex accident liability cases, representing general and independent contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, building/property owners, and other parties.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Fortin handled commercial transportation, product liability, and toxic tort matters as well as commercial and environmental litigation. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Fortin worked in communications and logistics for several elected officials and was a policy strategist for non-profit organizations advocating for the LGBTQ community.
