Overview

Partner Francisco Cabada focuses his practice on labor and employment law and commercial litigation.

He has more than twenty years of experience defending employers in employment litigation including claims of alleged harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination. Mr. Cabada handles wage and hour matters including class and representative actions, and conducts investigations and interviews to analyze complex wage and hour data to assess his clients risk and exposure. Mr. Cabada represents clients in federal and state courts, at trial, and in mediation. He routinely provides senior management advice on human resources and employee relations issues including  leave law management, wage and hour compliance, disciplinary and performance counseling, reasonable accommodation/interactive process, termination decisions, and employee classifications.

Additionally, Mr. Cabada practices commercial business litigation and defends matters including anti-piracy enforcement, fraud, and unfair business practices. His experience includes defending clients against claims of accounting malpractice, personal injury and white-collar crime. He is a veteran, having served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, prior to law school.

Mr. Cabada is fluent in Spanish.
