Overview
Allen Saylor concentrates on labor and employment, general liability, and commercial litigation.
Mr. Saylor defends management in employment law matters including claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. He represents insurance carrier clients in various insurance defense matters and provides counsel to clients in business litigation and partnership disputes.
Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Saylor represented defendants in discrimination cases, and workers’ compensation cases including medical claims in hearings and trials. He defended clients, including public entities, against petitions alleging violations of Labor Code section 132a.
During law school, Mr. Saylor served as a court clerk at the Butte County Superior Court, a student clinician at his school’s Internet & Intellectual Property Justice Clinic, and a legal extern at a law firm supporting real property transfers and estate plans in a fire-ridden California community. He was awarded an Intellectual Property and Technology Certificate, was senior articles editor of the law school’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal, a member of the Music and Art Law Student Association, and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
